SOLD OUT: First Time Edible Gardeners (Webinar Series: May 6, 13, 20, 27 - 11am)

EVENT SOLD OUT - SIGN UP OPEN FOR THE UPDATED WEBINAR HERE

“What if I could never go to the supermarket again?” The title for this Deep Roots Project webinar for first-time food gardeners was inspired by Rob Greenfield, an earth-friendly, environmental activist who asked that same question in the promo video for his 365-day adventure of living entirely on the food he would grow (and forage). That was years before the COVID crisis!

Deep Roots Co-Executive Director Estelle Carol and Education Content Director Lesley Pritikin will be presenting this webinar. They created the webinar content by asking themselves what they wish they had known before starting to grow their own food. The most import lessons learned about soil preparation, sun tracking, crop planning, crop rotation, companion planting, container planting, buying and growing seedlings and more will be packed into this webinar.

An ebook link will be sent to all people who register. Join Estelle and Lesley and let them convince you “it’s time to trust earth” as Rob Greenfield said at the end of his adventure. This webinar substitutes the 4th webinar in their original First-time Food Gardener webinar series that had been announced for this date. Same time, same place: Wednesday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m
