You’re invited!
Gardeners, neighbors, friends—come celebrate community, good food, and beautiful soil. Drop by anytime, take a garden tour, and stay as long as you like. Everyone’s welcome!
What to bring (optional!)
A potluck dish or drinks to share (store-bought is totally fine)
A lawn chair if you have one
Just yourself is perfect, too
Please label dishes for common allergens (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, nuts, etc.). We’ll have compost and recycling—reusable plates/cups encouraged.
Garden tours
Guided walk-throughs of the Deep Roots garden will run throughout the afternoon (1:00–8:00 pm). Ask questions, swap tips, and see how we grow.
Why we’re celebrating
We love the “Grow Your Own Food” movement and healthy, organic eating. Come learn our innovative method: using nutrient- and microbe-rich compost (instead of traditional soil blends) and top-quality worm castings for vigorous plants and abundant harvests.

We’re a nonprofit powered by both staff and volunteers. At this point in the season we are looking for help with our Facebook group, partner outreach, and/or fundraising, we’d love to meet you at the party!
