Bring food to share.
But no need to brings drinks. The Good Earth Greenhouse Café will supply our drinks.
We will continue eating during the presentation.

Everyone is welcome!
It doesn’t matter if you are already a Deep Roots volunteer or this will be your first time at one of our volunteer events. We welcome volunteers with many skill sets and interests. Above all we want all our volunteers to do meaningful work that they enjoy, as well as to learn new skills and have fun. Please bring a friend, your kids and family members.

Estelle will be glad to meet with you to talk about what volunteer job is right for your interests, skills and time availability.

  • building cedar raised beds and planting containers

  • filling beds with soil and mulch

  • social media, website updates, enewsletters, writing/editing

  • managing and growing sales for our online store

  • coordinating and supporting volunteers

  • planning events

  • fundraising and grant writing

  • presenting workshop or assisting the presenters

  • being a edible gardening mentor

  • helping manage our database of community members

  • photography and videography

Together we can make a difference building a local community of educators, edible gardeners and environmental stewards.
